Spare Driver - Class 3
GFL Environmental is looking for Spare Drivers to join our team in Abbotsford, British Columbia!
**Applicants must hold a valid Class 3 license (manual preferred)**
This is an on-call position with no set schedule or guaranteed hours. Successful candidates must be flexible and available to support operations across all three lines of business: Commercial Front End, Roll-Off, and Residential Collection.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate Commercial Front End, Roll-Off, and Residential collection vehicles as assigned
Safely operate manual transmission vehicles and hydraulic systems
Complete assigned routes efficiently and according to company standards
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain route quality and safety standards as determined by management
Maintain accurate records of services performed
Represent GFL professionally when interacting with customers and the public
Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times
Requirements:
Valid Class 3 Driver’s License (Manual Preferred)
Air Brake Endorsement
Must be available for on-call work with flexible scheduling
Ability to work across Commercial Front End, Roll-Off, and Residential lines of business
Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 50 pounds repetitively using proper lifting techniques
Ability to safely operate trucks and related equipment
Strong commitment to safety and customer service
