What You’ll Do
As a Scalehouse Operator, you are the heartbeat of the transfer station. Your day-to-day will involve:
The Front Line: Weighing trucks in and out with precision and providing top-tier service to every driver who visits our site.
Operational Support: Issuing truck permits, setting up new accounts, and ensuring all billing data is accurate and efficient.
Coordination: Acting as a communication hub—dispatching instructions for special waste disposal to our operators and managers to keep the site running safely.
Compliance & Safety: Testing scales daily for accuracy and managing environmental compliance tasks to keep our facility green and compliant.
What We’re Looking For
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: 1–3 months of related experience; a background in customer service is a huge plus!
Skills: Strong basic math skills (decimals, fractions, and percentages) and the ability to interpret data/graphs.
Mindset: A proactive communicator who enjoys working in a dynamic, outdoor-influenced environment.
