Roll-Off Driver

Key Responsibilities
Drive & Deliver: Safely and efficiently operate roll-off trucks and hydraulic hoists to haul, drop off, and pick up waste containers.
Safety First: Conduct thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining route quality and reporting mechanical needs or route hazards immediately.
Customer Champion: Represent GFL with a professional demeanor, delivering friendly and dependable service to every customer along your route.
Precision Operations: Navigate diverse traffic conditions, tight maneuvers, and varied weather with care, keeping cab and equipment clean and well-maintained.
Team Player: Collaborate closely with dispatch, supervisors, and branch management to streamline routes, attend safety briefings, and support fellow drivers.
Qualifications & Requirements
License: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in good standing.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of commercial driving experience or completion of an accredited CDL training program.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Capabilities: Ability to operate heavy truck machinery, perform basic written paperwork (inspection logs/route reports), and meet physical demands (lifting, climbing, stooping, and driving up to 75% of your shift).
