Parts Administrator
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily parts inventory for fleet and facility maintenance
Order, receive, stock, and issue parts and supplies accurately
Maintain inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts
Track parts usage, costs, and warranties in fleet maintenance systems
Coordinate with vendors, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely deliveries
Support mechanics and maintenance leadership with parts research and availability
Process invoices, purchase orders, and returns
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant parts room
Assist with inventory audits and cost-control initiatives
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
What You Bring to GFL
High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education preferred)
2+ years of experience in parts administration, inventory control, or fleet maintenance support
Knowledge of heavy-duty truck, diesel, or equipment parts (preferred)
Experience with inventory or fleet maintenance software
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong communication and customer-service mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel experience a plus)
