The Day-to-Day: What You’ll Actually Do
You aren't just sitting behind a desk. You are the heartbeat of the branch!
Coach & Captain: Recruit, train, and mentor your team of drivers and helpers. You’re the coach who helps them win every shift.
Master of Logistics: Direct collection and disposal services to maximize our fleet and people. You’ll be the puzzle-master of routes and special pickups.
Safety Champion: Lead monthly safety meetings, investigate incidents, and conduct route observations to keep our "Safe Employee" recognition program thriving.
Problem Solver: From resolving customer complaints to navigating CDL regulations, you’re the go-to person for making things right.
What You Bring to the Table
Experience: At least one year of supervisory experience (or one year as a GFL Lead Driver). You know how to lead from the front.
Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in waste or transportation is a huge plus. If you’ve driven the trucks, you’ve got our respect!
Education: High School Diploma/GED required; if you have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, even better.
The "It" Factor: Professionalism, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle a 40-hour weekly schedule with ease.
