Loader Operator
GFL Environmental is looking for a Loader / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Delta, BC!
The successful candidate will safely operate and/or have the ability to operate a loader to bale, load and move compost from one location to another.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a loader to bale and load compost.
• Loading hoppers and grinders
• Perform inspection and maintenance checks of equipment daily.
• Grease/lubricate equipment, check and add fluids to equipment daily
• Maintain appearance of the grounds and facility.
• Attend safety and branch meetings.
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery
• Successfully operate a loader to move compost around.
• Capability to run 110, 150 and 980 loaders
• Ability to operate other heavy equipment an asset.
• Ability to obtain Transfer Station/Landfill Operations Certification if needed.
• Demonstrate ability to follow instructions and work under little supervision.
• Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
