A “Day in the Life" of an IT Service Delivery Manager (ITSDM):
Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with business leaders to support strategic technology needs and business objectives.
Serve as a liaison between IT and business, ensuring clear communication of requirements and critical success factors.
Facilitate collaboration between business, IT staff, and vendors to drive effective cooperation and timely execution.
Monitor IT project progress, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure successful service delivery.
Conduct needs analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and align business groups with IT strategies.
Facilitate escalations from IT and the Business.
Coordinate working sessions for project delivery and troubleshooting.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
At least 5 years of experience in IT service delivery management or a similar role.
Strong leadership abilities with proven team management skills in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective in engaging with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
Solid understanding of IT service management (e.g., ITIL), project management methodologies, and IT infrastructure and software applications.
Knowledge of environmental services will be considered an asset with frequent travel between US & Canada.
