Customer Service Representative

What You’ll Do:
Provide outstanding customer service via phone, email, web, and in person
Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls and inquiries
Research, investigate, and resolve customer questions and concerns accurately and efficiently
Communicate clearly with on-the-road employees to provide instructions and support
Monitor, document, resolve, and report customer complaints and issues
Track customer data, maintain account files, and generate work orders
Download, distribute, and respond to customer email inquiries
Scan contracts and maintain accurate records
Work with supervisors to ensure all daily pick-ups are completed
Promote a positive GFL Environmental image through professional communication
Provide backup support for the Office Coordinator as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned
Comply with all company policies and applicable laws and regulations
What’s Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to operate standard office equipment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organization, data entry, and record-keeping skills
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Hazardous waste experience is an asset
Physical & Work Conditions:
Ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands, talk, and hear
Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision
Indoor office environment approximately 95% of the time
Noise level is usually moderate
