The Customer Service Representative (CSR) position is responsible for providing primary customer contact. This position provides a critical role in establishing the public impression of GFL and becomes a reflection of who we are and what we stand for. This dynamic individual will be highly organized and confident in their ability to develop customer relationships and successfully manage expectations through effective communications in a personalized manner. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and embrace the opportunity to resolve complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
Schedule service and satisfy customer needs for service changes. Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established policies.
Interacts with Customers, Customer Service Department, Sales, & Operations Staff reporting to Operations Manager.
Fields incoming calls / emails from customers.
Communicate with maintenance shop personnel.
Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally via email, telephone, and two-way devices.
Assist with month end billing process
Receive, process and enter contracts and agreements
Data entry and monthly client reporting
AR procedures including invoice inquiries, adjustments, credits and payments
Assist with sales processes
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree Preferred
Previous administrative or customer service experience an asset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer focus.
Proficient in Google Workspace suite.
Responsible individual with high energy and a positive attitude
Clean professional image and sense of pride that promotes a positive team spirit
Detail oriented with excellent organizational, problem solving, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
Enthusiastic self-starter with a strong work ethic and proven track record for success
Reliable team player that is supportive of company drivers and co-workers
Work experience in the waste, recycling or environmental services industries an asset
Experience with Trux software an asset
