GFL Environmental is looking for a Cube Van Driver to join our team in Cranbrook, British Columbia!

The Cube Van Driver performs a range of duties including but not limited to providing customers with high-quality service, daily truck inspections, completing daily routes, and other duties as assigned by their Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete assigned routes safely, efficiently, and professionally
  • Drive to customer locations to deliver, empty, and return bins or equipment as required
  • Conduct thorough daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams regarding route progress or issues
  • Ensure accurate completion of all required paperwork and driver logs
  • Follow company and industry protocols for loading, unloading, and dumping at waste or recycling facilities
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle
  • Represent GFL positively in all customer interactions
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager


Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably operating a cube van or similar vehicle
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Clean driver’s abstract
  • Ability to meet safety-sensitive requirements under company and regulatory standards
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with Cranbrook and surrounding areas is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting and maneuvering materials as needed
