A “Day in the Life" of a Chemical Cleaning Operator:
- Operate pumps, heat exchangers and circulation units
- Set-up of temporary equipment & perform routine tasks such as installation of Victaulic pipe, chemical hose, and mixing various chemicals
- Complete equipment maintenance inspections
- Extensive travel (mostly within Canada) for projects and turnarounds at client sites
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum 1 year previous Industrial or Chemical Cleaning experience
- Class 3 or 5 Drivers’ License with a clean abstract
- Able to lift up to 50lbs frequently
