The job:

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of our fleet of trucks and heavy-duty equipment. You’ll ensure our vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready to serve the community each day.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel, CNG, gas, and electric trucks, as well as related heavy-duty equipment

  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings

  • Complete work orders, order parts, and track repairs in M5 planner

  • Use power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and complete repairs

  • Assist with reviewing mechanical write-ups and scheduling repairs

  • Work both independently and as part of a supportive team of technicians

What You Bring

  • Red Seal Certification as a Heavy Duty Mechanic (required)

  • Minimum 1 year of post-certification experience (asset if more)

  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to read and follow repair manuals, work orders, and safety procedures

  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs., kneel, crawl, and work in varied conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise, fumes)

  • Commitment to safety and teamwork
