Account Manager
Summary
As a key member of GFL’s Business Development team, you will be committed to enhancing our client relationships and growing our market share. You will be relied upon to source new business with prospective and existing clients and will instill confidence in our customers that they are dealing with the industry leader. This position will focus primarily on growing our customer base within the Oil & Gas sector landscape via our Waste & Waste Processing division. The chosen individual will thrive in this challenging, competitive, ever-changing business environment.

Job Duties
Seek out business development with new and existing clients.
Analyze customer needs and present solutions utilizing a thorough understanding of our diverse service offerings.
Always represent the company in a professional manner to ensure every opportunity is taken to promote the brand.
Ensure exemplary customer satisfaction and act as a liaison between customer and operational staff.
Provide market intelligence regarding competitors and pricing strategies.
Formulate business plans and strategies to meet business development targets.
Willingness to travel 70/30 split a must (travel and schedule decided by the hire 90% of the time)
Requirements
Proven business development experience in a competitive, demanding business sector
Waste management industry experience an asset, specifically to larger complex industrial sites requiring multiple industry services.
Passion for business excellence with exceptional follow through
Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
